Elena Ogbe

Hi! My name is Elena Ogbe, a first-generation Eritrean-American with a major in Nursing and a minor in Honors Interdisciplinary, Chronic Illness, and Area of Emphasis in Global Studies. I would like to take the time to share who I am and my future aspirations. As a future nurse who strives to provide equitable care for all patients, taking the time to become more culturally aware is important to me. My goals include being able to influence individuals in the healthcare field to engage in critical self-reflection and to have a heightened awareness of worldviews. In an effort to reach my goals, I am currently applying myself to multiple study abroad opportunities that are offered to the James Madison University undergrad community.
